Please join us Wednesday, 13 December at CMS for our annualHoliday Drinks Celebration as a thank you to all of our members, allies, and sponsors for an amazing year! We are excited to be launching the same evening our new disability network, ENABLE.
In 2017, we held our monthly LGBT+ Network meetings, launched a Race & Ethnicity (BAME) and Allies Network, started Phase 2 of our Purple Reign project, completed the fourth year of our Apollo Project (in partnership with the Financial Times), raised funds for charity at our annual Winter Carnival, and prepared the 2017 update of our Career Progression in the Legal Sector report for publication in early 2018.
We will also be using the occasion for the official launch of our newest network, ENABLE, which supports members of the legal sector with disabilities, and their allies. ENABLE will commence regular bi-monthly meetings in 2018, with network co-leads Adelina Ferrara, Executive Director, Deutsche Bank, and Katia Ramo, Associate, CMS. We are excited to have them join the InterLaw Diversity Forum family, bringing a host of skills and a passion for equality.
We will be taking voluntary donations at the door on the night to support the work of two charities, so please remember to bring a little cash!
(We would suggest a £20 for Partners/MDs, £10 for Associates, and £5 for students.)
NAZ (naz.org.uk) is the longest established and largest BAME charity in London addressing the sexual health and HIV/AIDS needs of BAME communities.
Regard (regard.org.uk) is a national organisation of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender people (LGBT) who self-identify as disabled.
thanks to CMS for graciously hosting this event.
