We are delighted to announce that the Student Lab Summit, the InterLaw Diversity Forum's flagship early careers event, is back! 

On 9th December 2022, the InterLaw Diversity Forum will welcome 100 high potential aspiring lawyers from  diverse, socially mobile, and under-represented groups for a day of inspiring panel discussions and practical workshops. 

The Student Lab Summit is a one-day event that provides unique insights into life in the legal profession, along with practical skills to help you not only 'get in', but also to succeed in the world of law.

Generously sponsored by The University of Law and generously hosted by Linklaters, the day will run from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
 
Our programme includes:
 

• Plenary discussions with leading figures in the legal profession, each sharing the secrets to their success and perspectives on how to stand out from the crowd

• Keynote and fireside chat with leading industry figures

• Interactive breakout workshops providing valuable knowledge and practical skills 

• Access to the Student Lab Careers fair, bringing an opportunity to speak with firms who are serious about diversity, equity and inclusion

• Networking opportunities with private practice and in-house lawyers

 

The Student Lab Summit is aimed at current law undergraduates, undergraduates in other fields intending to do the GDL, law graduates (including those who have completed the GDL), and career changers in groups currently under-represented in law firm leadership (minority ethnic, women, LGBTQ+, socially mobile, disability).
